The dates

  • 1 October 2025: CORENET X mandatory for new projects of 30,000 m² GFA and above.
  • 1 October 2026: mandatory for new projects of 5,000 m² GFA and above (joint URA and BCA circular, July 2026).
  • Smaller projects may opt in and can continue on CORENET 2 for now. Projects of 5,000 m² and above that began CORENET 2 submissions by 30 September 2026 may continue there.

CORENET X is Singapore's coordinated regulatory submission platform for building works. It replaces the old approach, in which each agency received and processed its own submissions, with a joint process organised around project gateways. Agencies including BCA, URA, SCDF, PUB, NEA, LTA and NParks review the submission together at each gateway.
